Here, we give you a (very) few examples of the types of economic practices the participants to our study are employing, and fictional profiles of the types of persons we are interviewing. We are now preferring to use the term “feminist economic practice” as it encompasses the diversity projects are are researching: some are businesses in the traditional sense of the term, but not all! We will tell you more about this soon.

Who are our participants?

  • Morgan

    Morgan founded an online store. This platform showcases their art, supporting local causes close to their heart. They identify as bisexual and are known for their unwavering dedication to promoting mental health awareness.

  • Alex

    Alex is a non-binary author. Through their writing, they aim to give voice to the queer community and foster understanding and acceptance. Alex's works are influenced by their own experiences.

  • Esther

    Esther, an individual who journeyed from their home country to a new land, found themselves in need of creating their own job after relocating and facing a language barrier. She founded her own fashion brand, designed to be safe spaces for queer individuals and adapted to trans bodies.
